Want To Run A Program At Startup (2 Simple Ways)

Hello everyone hope you all are enjoying my blog.Today we are talking about how you can run any program at start up. Well i do lots of fun with this simple trick and also it is useful for some other work's.

So, let get started i have two ways to do this first ways using regedit and second was using startup folder.
let take second method first because it was easy and very very simple.

first right click on start button and select explorer

A popup windows will open and then negative it to  C:\Documents and Settings\(user)\Start Menu\Programs\Startup and you get this folder.

well this is the image of windows 8 start up folder but you get the same folder.don't worried if there some programs already . now just paste the shortcut of the program & file which you want to run at start up and you done it using second method. you want to know the first method keep reading...

Now lets do it by using first method that was regedit method . first goto START >> RUN or you can get the run box by using this shortcut key windows + R. and you get something like this.



after this a popup windows open that's was the regedit tool. regedit is the awesome tool that i had ever seen in windows.


 now just navigate it  to

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

and you get this box

 

Now make a new DWORD value here by right click and new >>Dword (32-bit value)

 

Name it any thing that you want now open it by dobule-clicking on the dword value and you get this.

 

Delete if any this fill in the Value data filed. now read carefully the most important work put the address of the program that you want to run at start up in the Value data field for example i want to run Mspaint at startup so i type this on value data C:/windows/system32/mspaint.exe remember you have put full address and the file extension also.. and click ok and done
